Everyone wants to make money these days...

The current trend is to make money on the net. Claims of "Build a List", "The Money is in The List", and all that..., seems to be the battle cry of many a net buccaneer.
They all try to lead newbies and novices into parting with their hard earned cash or is it their credit cards? All sorts of packages seem to pop up like mushrooms after a heavy rain. They do come with conflicting names like PlugNPay, or Plug&Play?
They appear to be very attractive at first sight especially to those 'still wet behind their ears'. But what chance have these newbies got, competing with the veterans who deluge their ads with their over generous offers of huge giveaways in their quest to get subscriptions to such sites!
The playing field has never been level here!
Such is the plight that is before me. What can I do?

Swine Flu or Tempers Flew?

Ever since Adam took a bite of the apple the history of mankind has its share of curses, the latest being the Swine Flu. It first reared its ugly head in the midst of Mexico and scant attention was paid to it until it became widespread. It has now gripped at least 26 countries and the toll of death was one too many. Had the various authorities been more alert, the disease would have been nipped.
Certain governments took peculiar but stern action to prevent its spread to their countries like putting a whole lot of tourists from infected countries into hotels and quarantining them much to the displeasure of the affected authorities. Their displeasure took a peculiar turn when the WHO applauded the stern action.
